    How It Works

Sign up for either a rolling monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time, or buy your months in advance (up to a year!) on the site. Once you’ve done that, we will handpick three LP’s that we think you’ll love, and have them sent out to you in a well-protected box.

Hand Picked for Your Own Tastes

We love classic albums, and then not-so-classic, but that doesn’t mean its not good. So when you’re buying this box, look out for the section at checkout that lets us know what genres and artists you’re interested in. We’ll cater each box to your own tastes, and even throw in a wildcard to open your eyes towards new music!

    What Records Can I Expect?

We don’t send out brand new LP’s. If you have ever looked at Amazon or HMVs record collection, you would know that scoring 3 full-length records for £18 would be an absolute miracle. We spend our day’s hand picking original records from the past, making sure they are in great condition through testing (our favourite bit, listening to the music) before we send them out.

Anything else I need to know?

Nope! But if you have any questions, visit our FAQ.

    How Shipping Works

We offer free shipping across the UK for all of our boxes. That means that part of your monthly cost accounts for packing, materials, and getting your parcel sent out through Royal Mail. This cost typically comes to around £3.

For shipping in Europe and beyond, we absorb £3 of the shipping rate, and you guys pay the rest. This keeps the full process transparent, and we ship all of our parcels through Royal Mail International Standard, which aims to deliver your parcels within 5-7 working days!

This means you can expect the following shipping costs at checkout:

    EU & Europe 🇪🇺 £5.75

    USA 🇺🇸 £11.20

    Canada 🇨🇦 £11.20

    Australia & New Zealand 🇦🇺 £11.20

Well, it came well packaged, no problems there. What’s inside? Bearing in mind I requested rock/metal or if failing that anything but disco, they managed to avoid disco at least. We’ve got Elvis’ I Got Lucky, an early 70’s compilation of mostly songs from the films, Neil Diamond’s The Best Years Of Our Lives, a late 80’s release I have to admit I’ve never heard of, and lastly Barbara Streisand’s Love Songs, an early 80’s compilation. The condition of the records is great, the sleeves aren’t mint but perfectly acceptable. Whether or not they’re worth a fiver each is moot, Elvis and Babs would be a couple of quid at a car boot, but at least they’re perfectly playable and Babs is something I wouldn’t have bought myself in a million years so at least I’m being exposed to something different which is what I subscribed to this service for. Let’s see what next month brings.

My review, I would give 5 stars, really love the idea of receiving vinyl and not knowing what they are, very pleased with my first box containing Art Garfunkel, ELO and Jimi Hendrix. I have even plugged you on facebook through a vinyl group I am a member of and there’s been lots of interest, I posted pictures of the albums I received, well done, great idea and keep up the good work, I’ll be setting up my subscription on payday 28th June

What did this month bring? Half of a Best Of ELO compilation, Precious Time by Pat Benatar, this was an enormous platinum selling release in the US, listening to it now it’s good but not that amazing. You had to be there I guess. And finally Tonight I’m Yours by Rod Stewart. I’ve heard this one before, my mum bought it new first time round and it’s ok but of course nowhere near as good as his early 70’s output. All in all a good box, 4 out of 5. Would have been a 5 if both ELO lp’s were there.

Not received my first box yet despite making 3 payments however I’m not giving a bad review, I did receive a box a few months ago but had to cancel my subscription, the packaging was good and the vinyl good with 2 out of 3 I was very pleased with, ELO, Jimi Hendrix and Garfunkel, I love the concept of receiving 3 surprise records, I’m hoping to receive my first box soon as it’s showing despatched and will review again

OK, another month, another box appears. It was only 4 months late but hey. So what have we got? Firstly Adam and the Ants Prince Charming. I was actually surprised by this. Unexpedtedly good music and good positive lyrics. Still think the pirate look was embarassing and pants though. Next we have The Alarm Eye Of The Hurricane. Generic late eighties Simple Minds style pap. It sounds like they played it to a focus group and anything that provoked any excitement or emotions got cut out. And lastly we have Boston Third Stage. It took 6 years to record. They didn’t spend that much time on the songwriting unfortunately. Not terrible but definitely a bit meh. This type of melodic mid-eighties American hard rock/aor is supposed to have big anthemic singalong chroruses and soaring guitar solos and whathaveyou which this record is severely lacking in. I suspect this is why no one can name a Boston song that isn’t More Than A Feeling. Seriously now, sort out the delays. If I order something that takes 4 months to arrive it’s because they’re hand building my Rolls Royce. It shouldn’t take that long to post 3 records. I’ve been told it’s because of my chosen taste in music but I don’t listen to anything that esoteric. Hard rock and metal of which only the Boston lp really belongs to. Bear in mind though I’ve received Barbra Streisand and Don WIlliams in the past. Maybe these boxes are hand curated but I’m not convinced they’re curated by someone with a wide knowledge of music.
